Yachtsmen International is delighted to announce the sale of 2017 102’ | 31.1M Cantiere delle Marche expedition yacht ‘ATLAS’. Yachtsmen International Managing Director Sean Madgwick introducing the buyer and Rico Stoll  & Brian Press from Nautical Innovation representing the seller.

Built by the prestigious Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche and delivered in May 2017, ‘ATLAS’—formerly known as GALEGO and HVALROSS —is the third hull in the Darwin 102 series and an exceptional example of explorer-yacht artistry. With naval architecture by HydroTec, she features a rugged steel hull and aluminium superstructure, offering a full displacement design with a 7.43 m beam, 2.05 m draft, and 243 GT, ensuring both strength and comfort at sea. 

‘ATLAS’ offers premiere amenities across three decks. Her sun deck includes jacuzzi, bar, sun loungers, and an overhead rain shower. The aft cockpit, shaded and air-conditioned, provides enclosed outdoor dining and a concealed control station for added convenience. 

She accommodates up to 8 guests in four luxurious suites (owner’s cabin, VIP, and two twin cabins), plus dedicated crew quarters. 

Propelled by twin Caterpillar C18 (670 hp each) diesels, ATLAS cruises comfortably at 10 knots and reaches a top speed of 13 knots. With her 40,048-litre fuel capacity, she boasts an impressive range of 4,500 nautical miles at cruising speed.  

ATLAS is now poised to embark on new ocean-spanning journeys; we wish her new owners many years of safe and enjoyable boating.
