Galaxy I was originally launched in 1996 and been extensively refitted since this time. Galaxy I charter vessel is a 26 metre luxury Super yacht, berthed in the stunningly beautiful Sydney Harbour. Enjoy whale watching off the coast, plus the iconic Sydney Opera house and Sydney Harbour Bridge are only a stones throw away.
Galaxy I Charters aim to satisfy the most discerning traveler attracted to the luxury end of the leisure market. Galaxy I becomes your vehicle to relax, to explore and to enjoy the finer things in life. Numbers are restricted aboard (12 daily and 6 overnight) to ensure that each guest receives the full attention of our dedicated wait staff. Service and dedication are only part of the Galaxy experience; our on-board chef is ready to ensure guests enjoy a gastronomic journey second to none. Menus can be tailored for each individual palate and our kitchen staff use only the freshest of ingredients. With two designated dining areas, guests have the choice of formal dining on the forward deck or more casual dining aft.
For the guests who want that little bit more, Galaxy I is available as an overnight experience or a multi day cruise itinerary. Dining in luxury whilst viewing the beautiful Sydney skyline is a ‘must do’ on everyone’s bucket list. Our master stateroom boasts a king sized bed with marble en-suite. Naturally, all cabins have satellite TV and DVD players with on board Wi-Fi internet to keep you connected. Niad stabilizers ensure that Galaxy I can guarantee the smoothest possible ride whatever the location.
Galaxy I Charter Rates
VESSEL HIRE (Minimum 4 hours) RATE (includes Captain & Deckhand)
November – February $1,150 per hour
March – October $950 per hour
Public Holidays / Special Days + 20% per hour
Boxing Day / New Year’s Day / Australia Day $1,500 per hour
New Year’s Eve (6 hours all-inclusive F&B 40 pax) $50,000 total
Daily (8 hours) $7,000
Overnight (24 hours – includes meals, drinks and amenities) $12,000
Weekly (7 nights – includes meals, drinks and amenities) $55,000
STAFFING FEES • 1 x wait staff required per 10 guests
$300 per wait staff for a 4 hour charter • $65/per extra hour (20% surcharge for public holidays)
$500 per wait staff for a 4 hour charter • $100/per extra hour (Boxing Day/New Year’s Day/Australia Day)

- Catering is to be preloaded 2-3 hours prior to charter where possible, otherwise in the days before between 10am-2pm (preferred).
- Food is to be platter style or pre-prepared with minimum preparation required
- Galaxy I staff will assist with the serving of food and beverages during the charter
- No BYO charters on Friday’s or Saturday’s in November and December
- Preloading is at Elliott Street Wharf Balmain. Other preloading requests on application.
