ROTATIONAL LEAD DECKHAND – 30m+ M/Y (PRIVATE)

YACHT INFORMATION
A 30m+ private motor yacht is seeking an experienced and confident Lead Deckhand to join the team, commencing in November 2026.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, enthusiastic and reliable team player with a strong work ethic, a positive mindset and a calm, professional nature. They must be eager to learn, take initiative and be ready to hit the ground running.
Opportunity to step up to Mate when he is on leave, so must be confident in all aspects, knowledgeable and able to work without instructions.

East Coast Australia yard period, South East Asia travelling from end of November
POSITION DETAILS
- Start Date: October 2026
- Employment Type: Rotational 3:1
- Salary: Attractive AUD DOE
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- STCW
- ENG1 or equivalent recognised seafarer medical certificate.
- Yacht master or Master 5 qualification.
- Minimum 3 years in the industry
REQUIREMENTS
- Must currently be based in Australia.
- Must hold full Australian working rights.
- Previous experience as a deckhand on a similar-sized vessel.
- Confident tender-driving skills and a strong understanding of deck operations.
