31m M/Y – Rotational Engineer – Australia – Private
YACHT INFORMATION
A 31m private motor yacht is seeking an experienced and confident Engineer to join the team on a rotational contract, commencing in October 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking a long-term position aboard a private vessel cruising the East Coast of Australia.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, hands-on team player who demonstrates:
- Strong engineering knowledge, confidence and technical skills.
- A genuine interest in securing a long-term position.
- The ability to work closely alongside the Captain, who is also a qualified Engineer.
- A strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- The ability to work harmoniously with the crew and maintain the vessel to a high standard.
- Experience and confidence in maintaining reliable operations while cruising in remote areas.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Y4 Engineer qualification, AMSA MED 1 or higher.
- STCW
- ENG1

- Full Australian working rights.
- Must currently be based in Australia.
- Relevant engineering experience on similar-sized vessels.
