YACHT INFORMATION:
A 40m private yacht is looking for an experienced Captain to take over the operations onboard. With a recent sale, there will be a full crew changeover onboard. Private vessel, with limited use (mostly as a floating apartment by owner). Usage expected every 6 weeks.
The vessel will be based in Sentosa Cove, Singapore. Local experience preferred but not required.
MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Previous experience as a Captain on yachts.
- Hardworking and mature.
- Great adaptability, communication & leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid STCW10 + ENG1
- Master <45m / Master 500GT +
- *Required* Captain’s Online Assessment: As the master of a visiting yacht, if you do not hold a local Singapore Private Pleasure Craft Driving Licence (PPCDL), you must complete the MPA online self-assessment. A passing score grants you a 6-month operating validity in local waters.
ITINERARY
Singapore (Sentosa Cove based) for next 2 years, with cruising to Malaysia/Thailand in the future.
