Nurse/Personal Assistant Position
*Live in Position (or live out for potentials)*
Location: Gold Coast-based with national/international travel.
Terms: Full-time permanent.
Hours: 50 hrs per week.
Salary: AUD DOE.
Job description
All tasks are shared between candidate and one other nurse/personal assistant as joint coworkers, and the workload is balanced.
Nursing tasks include:
- Daily obs & skin assessments
- BGL (Libre sensor) monitoring & administration of insulin
- Daily head and lower limb massage for circulation
- Application of topical creams
- Monitoring for signs of clinical deterioration and ability to escalate as required
- Weekly medical report for family and treating team
- Assisting primary with mobilisation (SBA)
- Oxygen administration PRN
- Simple wound dressings PRN
Personal assistant tasks include:
- Covering coworkers’ days off
- Working alongside coworker with tasks as required, including but not limited to:
- Booking flights/transfers/accommodation
- Birthday cards/presents
- Diary management
- Booking dinner/lunch reservations
- Assisting primary with TV/emails/Zoom meetings
- Attending social events/reservations with primary
- Liaising with coworkers to organise events
Requirements:
- Australian drivers licence
- AHPRA Registration
- Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- ABN as a private nurse
