Proudly built by Oceanfast in Australia, 48-meter (157 foot) superyacht BIG SKY was completed in 2010 and most recently refit in 2021. Finally returning home to Australian waters, BIG SKY is offering unrivalled charter experiences in the Southern Hemisphere as one of the region’s largest and most exceptional superyachts.
Remarkably voluminous in her design, BIG SKY boasts four spacious decks for the ultimate in entertaining. Her exterior spaces have been meticulously crafted to ensure guests can fully experience and appreciate the al-fresco lifestyle that Australia is renowned for. Starting at the top, the sun deck features a jacuzzi that has been integrated into her huge sunbed bar and u-shaped lounge. The sky lounge provides undercover dining for 11 guests, flowing into an expansive lounging area which is the perfect spot to relax after a delicious chef-prepared dinner. From the sky lounge, the spiral staircase escorts you down to the main deck and into a more intimate lounging area, then dual staircases take you down to the vast swim platform where the fun really begins.
The interior spaces of BIG SKY are both elegant and contemporary, tastefully furnished with a neutral palette that caters to a wide variety of client preferences and styles. The yacht offers an impressive selection of lounge areas and dining spaces. Each deck has a fully stocked bar ensuring the crew can provide each and every charter guest with seamless service. One of her most noteworthy design highlights is her full beam main saloon which maximises interior space, delivering stunning views of your surrounds and allowing natural light to flow freely through are two panoramic windows that stretch down either side of the yacht.
Accommodation is well-appointed and caters for up to 11 guests across five staterooms, each of which is outfitted with an ensuite bathroom. A full beam sanctuary, the master suite is located forward on the main deck benefits from abundant natural light courtesy of large windows. The yacht’s additional four staterooms are located below deck and include three queen staterooms, each with walk-around beds, and one double stateroom, which has an additional Pullman berth. Ensuring that each guest enjoys restful nights at sea is her zero-speed stabilisation system.
